The last level's heroic is so punishingly reliant on RNG that I'm surprised we managed it at all! There doesn't seem to be any good solution for doing this the way the devs intended so we took a different tack and dodged the faction switching altogether, via swift domination of our opponents with the sniper. A good deal of RNG lined up for us on this one and it even worked out to survive the surprise ending! Best wishes to anyone still looking to get that heroic victory for themselves. This game's challenges definitely leave a lot to be desired.
