Britannia calls into Atherstone for water 24th May 2024

Friday the 24th of May 2024 saw a positioning move for BR Standard Pacific class 7MT number 70000 "Britannia" as it took an empty coaching stock set to Southall in readiness for a railtour over the following weekend to Norwich. Seen here as the movement stopped in Atherstone for Britannia to take on water from a road water tanker we have the train arriving and being hooked up to the tanker before I moved to the London end of the platform where an unexpected train passed by heading North on the far line, 2 class 67s in Pullman livery hauling the British Pullman set on a railtour, this is then followed by Britannia departing Atherstone station with plenty of steam and then finally my usual still images from the videos (plus one of Britannia while she was stationary in the station) to finish the video.
