Russian scholar on Netaji's life and death

Kirill Fursov, Senior Research Fellow at Moscow's Institute of Asian and African Studies, talks about Netaji. He has written a book which deals with Subhas Chandra Bose's struggle for India's freedom and the mystery surrounding his death.

He writes in his book:

"If Bhagwanji was indeed Netaji, his transformation has an interesting parallel in Russian history. There is a version that Tsar Alexander I did not die in 1825, but laid down the sceptre and lived out his days in Siberia under the name of a starets (holy man) Feodor Kuzmich passing away in 1864. Though Russian and Japanese graphologists have proved the complete similarity between the handwritings of the Tsar and the starets, the line under the mystery has not been drawn yet."
