It is believed that nose piercing will make a woman resistant to hypnotism as the nose rings influences the brainwave length. It’s also believed that it improves the health of their reproductive organs and helps in reducing menstrual cramps, labor pain, and even infertility as well. Especially when the nose ring is worn on the left side.
Because the Ayurvedic book Sushrutha Samhita says, the Nerves that run from the left nostril is linked with female reproductive organs. But it is not true, Nerves are interconnected throughout the body and ultimately connected to the brain. Few get pierced below the nasal septum ie. Below the centre bony portion of the nose. This can be extremely dangerous because If some infection happen during the process, the germs can travel to the brain leading to severe brain damage. That’s why the area around nose is called as the danger triangle of our body.
