I Fought A Child (Live at Frontera, 1969) [obscure classic country vinyl]

Описание к видео I Fought A Child (Live at Frontera, 1969) [obscure classic country vinyl]

Recorded live at Frontera women's prison in 1969 as part of Tuppard’s court-mandated community service requirements, this rare ai vinyl restoration is the only legally available version of I Fought A Child. The family of the unnamed child successfully sued to keep the studio version - which directly named the child - out of record stores citing privacy concerns. “I got that f**ker in the restaurant, but he got me in court,” Tuppard said after the 1968 ruling. Tuppard would be charged with multiple misdemeanors by the state after the incident - most of which were reduced or thrown out due to lack of witnesses willing to testify in favor of the child.
