Namaskar Swar Mandir Varamahalakshmi Utsav-
Varalakshmi is one of the most auspicious and divine forms of Devi Lakshmi. We decorate Goddess Lakshmi with new clothes, jewelers, kumkum, and flowers. Offer akshat, chandan, kumkun, sindur, to the goddess. Offer fresh fruits, sweets, and water to the goddess.
Varalakshmi is derived from two Sanskrit words- "Vara" meaning boon and "Lakshmi" meaning wealth.
This occasion is observed on the Friday before the day of the full moon - Purnima - in the Hindu month of Shravana, which corresponds to the Gregorian months of July – August.
Because of any reasons, one who could not able to perform the Vratha on the Friday before the day of the full moon can observe the Var Laxmi Vrata on any Friday in Shravan maas. Lakshmi is the Goddess of wealth and prosperity.
