"Pick of the Day" - 1996 Matchless Chieftain

By now you're probably aware that we're really into boutique build amplifiers, and that's just what we have today - a 1996 Matchless Chieftain amp! This is a 2x10 combo coming in a 40w, powered by EL34s through a pair of Celestion speakers, and it sure is a tone machine! While it has simple controls consisting of Volume, 3-band EQ, Brilliance, Master, and Reverb, don't let it fool you - this amp can touch just about any genre and takes pedals extremely well, not to mention the built-in reverb is just top-notch. Being a cool and unique finish, and handwired from the sought-after Sampson-era of Matchless, we're pretty sure this one won't sit in the shop for long, and these things are built to last!
