Where to eat Waiheke Island - Auckland, New Zealand

Waiheke Island is only a short 40 min ferry ride from Auckland's ferry terminals. It's a great place to visit for a weekend getaway and if you enjoy incredible food at a gorgeous natural setting be sure to check out the last restaurant!

1. Two Fat Buns - Classic Kiwi burger spot, great ingredients and packed full of flavor. We can see why this place is packed all day!

2. Dragonfired - Possibly the best location for a pizza shop ever! Located right next to Little Oneroa beach. If you're feeling like a snack while you're hanging out this Waiheke beach you know where to go!

3. The Oyster Inn - A wonderful restaurant and hotel, the seafood here is super fresh. If you're a fan of oysters you have to come here to try some of Waiheke Island's finest oysters.

4. Poderi Crisci - As soon as we arrived at this restaurant we felt like we were transported somewhere magical. As the food came the magic continued. This place is so beautiful and picturesque, coupled with a lovely degustation it's definitely one to visit when you go to Waiheke.
