How to Train Young Apple Trees || Black Gumbo

My apple trees are nearing the end of their second growing season. We have selected our main scaffold branches and now it's time to train them to grow horizontally. A horizontal growth habit tends to produce more fruit on apple trees. There are many ways to accomplish this training, but I'll show you how to use twine.
