T-Top Boat Cover: Installing on a Lift

Описание к видео T-Top Boat Cover: Installing on a Lift

Setting up your T-Top Boat Cover is an easy, one-person operation that only takes about five minutes to install. Before you begin, make sure your motor is trimmed all the way up.

1. Unclip the buckle and unroll your cover
2. Use the extra connector strap that came wrapped around the cover to create a horizontal attachment point beneath the front and back of the t-top
3. Unzip your cover, locate the only royal blue webbing strap located on the cover, and clip it to the strap you attached beneath the front of the t-top
4. Find the two black webbing straps located on either side of the blue strap and attach them as well
5. Place the smaller section of the t-top cover over the bow
6. Secure the 10ft strap attached to the royal blue pull tab on the nose through the U-bolt of the boat. Pull the strap tight and tie off the excess webbing
7. Find the black pull tabs on either side of the nose of the cover and attach sandbags. Once attached, gently drop them over the side of the boat. (If you did not purchase sandbags, simply drop the sides of the cover over the boat without them).
8. Continue draping the cover over the outside of the boat. Once you reach the rear of the t-top, attach the next black strap to the metal framework
9. Continue working your way back towards the corner of the aft. If you purchased sandbags, find the rear black pull tab and attach one here
10. Toss the cover like a cast net over the motor
11. You’ll see two seams with a loop in the middle - align the loop in the center of the motor, find a 10ft strap, and, using a lasso-like motion, toss the strap so that it wraps beneath the foot of the motor
12. Run the strap between the loop and clip to secure. Do not tighten this strap
13. On the other corner of the aft, attach a sandbag and drop it the same way you did the last on the opposite side of the motor. If you did not purchase sandbags, simply drape this corner so that it falls outside of the boat
14. Attach the remaining rear connecting straps to the metal horizontal framework or to the strap you placed beneath the T-Top. Drape any remaining edges of the cover over the side of the boat
15. Connect the zipper and zip about ⅓ of the way down
16. Trim the motor all the way down
17. Inspect the attachments along the t-top and tighten all of the straps
18. As you step out of the boat, continue zipping the remaining portion of the zipper. At the bottom of the zipper, you’ll find a draw rope with loops at both ends. Slide one end of the rope through a loop and draw the rope tight. Make a clove hitch knot at the end of the rope

And that's all there is to installing your new T-Top Boat Cover!
