25 POCKET DECORATING IDEAS - Ep 1 - Junk Mail Envelopes to Pretty Journal Pockets & Ephemera

Today I have the first 25 Ideas of how to turn Junk Mail EnVelopes or any envelope in to pretty pockets used in your journal, junk journal, papercraft embellishments and ephemera. It’s as easy as decorating them and I will not only share my ideas by examples of them too! These were all made with items in my stash - so #crashyourstash ! I have 25 more ideas coming up next week!

Here are the first 25 ideas:
1) Use Fabric
2) Add a lace pocket
3) punch holes in the middle of the pocket and tie a bow
4) Add an embellishments that sticks up above the pocket
5) Add lace to the bottom of the pocket
6) Ink in a non neutral color
7) Add an eyelet
8) Add a bulb pin to eyelet
9) Add a dangle to bulb pin (button and tag)
10) Add a paper ruffle
11) Ink edges in neutral color (vintage photo)
12) Use a double layered tag
13) Use diamond dots to decorate
14) Punch holes on side of pocket and add trim - tied in each hole
15) Use a Snap to attach an embellishment
16) Use lace to back a tag for decoration
17) Emboss
18) Ink over embossing
19) Change the shape of pocket to a smaller rectangle
20) Use Buttons
21) Trim the outside of the pocket
22) Add contrasting texture
23) Hand stitch the edges
24) Add a tag as a side tuck
25) Use triangle shape
