The Giulia Sprint GTA was Alfa Romeo’s competition version of the Giulia Sprint GT road car. Only 501 were made for homologation, making them one of the most collectible Alfa Romeos and meaning that many are still running. The ‘A’ at the end of the name stands for Alleggerita - Italian for lightweight. Carlo Chiti's Autodelta developed a 740 kg, 170bhp racing touring car that was hugely successful in its various guises from 1966 through the mid-70s. Race wins and championship were picked up across Europe and North America...

All three Revoslot Alfas are based on North American cars, the two #25 GTAs prepared by the Buffalo-based Bobcor team. Bert Everett drove both liveries in Trans-Am - the red in 1970 and the yellow in 1971 - picking up five wins and 11 podiums in 26 races. Gus Andrey added another win and three more podiums, making the car the most successful Alfa in Trans-Am history. Both liveries now appear on historic racers, the red car on the original 1970 chassis. The blue car was a Californian Alfa, raced by Lee Midgley in 1970 and 1971. Midgley won two races in 1970 and finished second in championship. The livery on the Revoslot model is the 1971 version - a contemporary of the yellow #25 - still found on the historic racer today...
