Abstract: It seems we are at the stage, where using quantum circuits as a base abstraction for thinking about quantum algorithms seems to be not sufficient anymore. In this talk I’ll discuss my thoughts on the topic, some examples from my experience where I see issues with circuit model and share some ideas for a way to go forward. As this is a relatively fresh topic, expect this talk to be free-flowing, full of digressions and questions, rather than a well-structured lecture.
