3.6L Wrangler Rubicon w/ Flow Master Super HP-2 Sound

This is not an installation video but a sound test of the Flow Master Laminar flow muffler on a 2021 Jeep V6 3.6L engine. No the Super HP-2 muffler was not design for the Jeep. I happen to have one laying around and decided to test it on the MBRP system.

Stock Resonator and muffler has been removed.
MBRP Canister replaced with Super HP-2 muffler.

The Exhaust system is a cat back, full 304 Stainless steel 2.5" tube from MBRP. The MBRP Pro system for Jeep JL includes a standard 19" size muffler canister that can be swap out for any muffler with a complete length of 18 - 19.5". This allows for a variety of muffler to be used.

I happen to have a 15" Super HP-2 muffler laying around and decided to put it on the MBRP system to hear how it sounds. Because the Super HP-2 muffer was a bit shorter, I had to tig weld a 2.5" stainless tube to the end and trim as necessary to fit. The coupling I used was a Band clamp butt joint type to join both 2.5" OD pipe together.

The sound was aggressive/good but had a bit of medium to high pitch pulse, somewhat similar to a 4 cylinder engine. Not too loud but definitely higher pitch than the MBRP muffler canister.

Here are the parts used:
