Wings of Lyrina - Full Horse Riding Tales Mini Movie [Don't Lock Me Up pt 2/remake]

The world has long been split in two, the magic horses of Lyrina and the Humans. Humans have long been afraid of magic and when 10 year old Katalyn grows wings, her mother hides her away. Years later Katalyn meets a Pegasus and embarks on her adventure to self acceptance, friendship, and saving the world.

If you have ANY questions (plot wise, or anything) please ask! I tried my best, but unfortunately some aspects of the plot may not have translated into the movie perfectly since I had limited time and resources (and didn't want to movie to be an hour long 😅).

I've been working on Wings of Lyrina for a year now, and the first few months consisted of storyboarding, brainstorming, outlining, and filling all the plot holes that kept showing up. This process would NOT have been possible without my friend @Sierra F. and her help with brainstorming all the annoying plot points that didn't want to work together (a big question we asked was "Well then what happened??").

Once I finally finished the outline, I finally began writing the script. If you've ever written a script before, you know that not only does it need to make sense, but you also need to make sure you get all the little details right and the dialogue actually makes sense and flows. I finished writing the script in May of 2023, and sent it over to my beta readers, Sierra , and Jessica Summertiger, (known here on my channel as Lily or Violet Summers)

Once they assured me that my script made sense it was time to begin voice acting. The entire month of June consisted of gathering Voice actors and recording lines. My brother voiced Hunter. I voiced Katalyn, Katalyn's mother, and the Narrator. Sierra voiced the baker. Jessica Summertiger voiced the servent and the orphanage worker, while my mom voiced the woman during the flashback that reveals the backstory of Hunter and Katalyn. Then everyone (except my mom) took a couple lines as the "doubt".

After voice acting came filming. Which was definitely the most difficult part of the movie. Not only did I need to direct, film, and act all at the same time, but I needed to work with all my amazing actors and the crazy timezones we encountered. (I was 15 hours behind two of my actors!!) All the actors did amazing jobs, and put in countless hours. Without them, this movie could have never become as amazing as it is now. Thank you to; @Storm Rider, @Alyanna Floyd HRT, Pixie Princess, @Arya The Equestrian,@ Crypto The Great, Ash Storm, and @Jessica_Summertiger. See the credits for the islands I filmed on.

Finally was the editing phase, I used Capcut to edit as well as PicsArt. All music was found on YouTube Audio Library. I also added captions through YouTube, or you can simply enjoy the voice acting!
