Satyanarayan Prasad Sheera | Sooji Ka Halwa | Sheera Recipe | Maha Prasad Recipe | Suji Halwa Recipe


Sheera also known as suji halwa is a traditional Indian pudding made with semolina, ghee, sugar, cashews and raisins. This simple delicious dessert has a fluffy & soft texture with delicate flavors of cardamom & ghee. This sheera is offered to God as a prasadam while performing ‘Satyanarayan Katha’ or any other pooja like Devi pooja or Ganesh pooja.


Ingredients:
1 cup sooji / semolina / rava
1 cup sugar
1 cup melted ghee
3 cup milk
Some saffron strands
2 tbsp cashews
2 tbsp almonds
2 tbsp kismis
1 tbsp charoli
1 tsp cardamom powder
tulsi leaves
