Davido: My Song With Omah Lay Was Not My Favourite Song on “Timeless” Album.

Afrobeats megastar Davido, in an interview with Noire Tv before the Canadian leg of his tour explained that “With You”, his smash hit with Omah Lay wasn’t initially meant to be a single.

Davido said that “With You” isn’t in his top 3 favourite songs off the “Timeless” but evfentually had to become a single as it is the most popular song off the project.

Davido isn’t complaining as he adds that he is grateful to have a hit 13 - 14 years since way back when he debuted as an Afrobeats act, noting that a hit record of this magnitude is something most artists get in the beginning of their careers.
