Takht-I-Bahi or Takht Bai is one of the historical places in Pakistan's northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. There is a 2100 years old Buddhist monastery in a mountain near Takht Bhai in Mardan. it's one of the 6 world heritage sites in Pakistan. The Monastery is from the era of the Gandhara empire when they ruled most of South Asia and Central Asia. it's one of the modern civilizations at the time back and first of its kind similar to Mohinjo Daro in Sindh and Harrapa in Punjab.
