This is Why Indiana Jones 5 is SO AWFUL

Indiana Jones 5 and The Dial of Destiny was an incredible opportunity to give the well-loved and iconic Indy a memorable send-off. Instead, we have another forgettable sequel, anyone remember the Crystal Skull? Nope, neither does this film - which tried to sidestep that whole movie.

The plot is terrible, and the characters are even worse. This is less Indiana Jones and more Fleabag - goes on a wacky wild adventure with her old pal Indy. Phoebe Waller-Bridge while a great comedic actress, is unconvincing in this action adventure. Her character is also poorly written and you have little connection to her throughout the movie.

The de-aging of Indy in at the start is hit and miss, both looking amazing and terrible at times. A great start is let down by these wobbly bits. The rest of the movie is a downhill rickshaw ride.
Harrison Ford is solid in this one and does what Indiana Jones normally does, fights off thugs, rides horses, in car chases, and jumps out of a plane. Not once breaking an 80-year-old hip.
Disney once again thinks by throwing together an unlikeable 'strong' female lead, poor CGI, and terrible CGI will be a smash at the box office. This is a letdown of a movie and worth a skip.
