Blaidd the Half Wolf Roleplay (Elden Ring ASMR - Welsh Accent)

Here’s an ASMR Elden Ring roleplay, my homage to Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R. R. Martin’s recent release. In this relaxing – let’s face it – Dark Souls style immersive roleplay, you encounter a dubiously-faced Blaidd the Half Wolf deep within the ruins of Mistwood (for oblivious aims you decided to hide in a stone-sealed sarcophagus). Blaidd releases you from the grave and promises to protect you while you rest and recover, though he doesn’t stop talking in a soft-spoken Welsh lilt. Around you are ambient nature noises as day turns to dusk and a fire gently crackles away beside you.

In case you can’t tell (lol), I made the mask myself and pieced together the rest of the Blaidd cosplay from existing things. After my first attempt at a wolf asmr, where I botched together a Halloween mask, I decided to make this one from scratch using foam, fur, hot glue, and lots of hope… I think it turned out okay, but go easy on it!

Oh, and full disclosure, I haven’t even got around to playing the game yet… But after it was requested a few times, I couldn’t resist when I heard the natural Welsh accents from the voice actors. I honestly thought they were going to pronounce his name ‘blade’, so was thrilled when they didn’t – coincidentally the Blaidd VA Scott Arthur is from Llanelli, which is where my disinterested cop video was set. The accent I ended up going with is actually my ‘hometown drunk’ voice – a Powys twang. Y’know, when you go to your hometown, have a few [British alcoholic and flat] ciders, start talking like a local again, and then sacrifice a goat for a plentiful harvest. Anyway, enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧

ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses – even just for a bit.

📽 What is FPC? 🎞

FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds – just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
