After the movement parts have been put into the ultrasonic cleaner they are returned to the bench.
The Going train is installed between the front and back plates and the pivot/bush alignments are checked to see if any bushes need replacing.
Then the End Play is checked on each wheel.
I found this rare Antique Victorian Ansonia cast iron clock at a country market a few weeks ago.
It has a porcelain dial with Roman numerals.
It was very dusty but otherwise looked like it was in reasonably good condition.
Manufactured in about 1880 by the Ansonia Clock Company in New York.
