Chicago Bulls Venture Pitch Competition, Powered By LOUD Capital: Recap Video

In late 2019, the Chicago Bulls, in partnership with LOUD Capital, announced a venture competition for Chicago-based entrepreneurs to compete for a $50,000 investment from LOUD. From the nearly 200 companies that applied, 25 were selected as semifinalists to pitch at 1871, voted by UBI Global as the #1 private incubator in the world, in February 2020. Five winners were chosen to present on center court at the United Center in front of a celebrity panel, including former Chicago Bull Horace Grant. The winner, Honest Game, was selected on the court at the United Center on March 10, 2020, during a Bulls game and was awarded their investment prize.

LOUD Capital's partnership with the Chicago Bulls was aimed at supporting the entrepreneurial community of Chicago, in addition to providing historically underserved founders with an equal opportunity to participate. The competition gained international notoriety, receiving press in outlets like Forbes, Yahoo! Finance, and many other publications, ultimately placing Chicago in the spotlight to highlight their startup community.
