It had been a month or so since I had thrown a line out into the water. The East Coast of Australia was hammered by rain and the water systems overflowed which meant that the water became contaminated and turned a nasty brown colour. However, the conditions gradually cleaned up and the water was safe enough to fish again. This trip was incredible, from the sunrise and big thumping swell, to the excitement of hooking up to some high quality fish. It's what you hope for when you get ready to leave for a trip. We ended up hooking on to about ten fish but lost half of them. Tailor put up a hard fight for their size and the bigger ones will run you for your money. Stoked to finally get back at it, if you guys have any suggestions please leave a comment below and I will try my best to get it done. Yew!
