Guangzhou Design Week is the first annual international design and brands expo in China since 2006, jointly endorsed and promoted by ICSID, IFI and ICOGRADA since 2007. With more than 11-year operating history, Guangzhou Design Week has become the most influential and largest annual commercial activity in the Chinese design industry. Guangzhou Design Week 2018 will be held at Guangzhou, P.R.China from November 27th to 29th. It is estimated that the number of visitors will surpass 220,000 in 2018.

As a key activity under Guangzhou Design Week, WYDF Annual Selection Forum 2018 is going to be held on Nov. 27th 2018 in Guangzhou China.

WYDF is open to youth designers all over the world and award goes to their achievement and sucess. 4 young designers who are 40 or under 40 years old from China, Asia, America, Europe will be invited as guest speaker to promote and display themselves to China market and industry. A 17-minute English speech and an 8-minute reply upon the topic “Design craft” is required.
Designers would send their resume, personal photo and about 10 project photos of two or three representative works with project description in English. Then the organizing committee will evaluate all the material then decide which 4 designers will be the keynote speakers. GZDW will cover the expense of the keynote speakers' flight and accommodation.
