2018 Peterbilt 520 McNeilus Rear Loader- Republic Services

While looking around in the Point Richmond area for older Autocar WXLL McNeilus Rear Loaders, we came across this 2018 Peterbilt 520 McNeilus Rear Loader doing recycling. Since we had no luck filming the two other WXLLs we found, we decided to grab a few clips of this. The truck itself isn't too interesting, although the area itself was pretty nice. These trucks are what Republic of West Contra Costa is replacing their Autocar WXLL McNeilus RLs with, so soon these will be everywhere. When we filmed this in January 2024, this was the only newer truck doing this route. Whether or not it is still that way, I am not sure. I hope to go back sometime to film the older trucks soon, but for now all I have is some clips of this newer one. Thanks to the very nice crew for allowing us to follow them for a little. Enjoy!
