'X, The Legend' from Megaman Zero 1 except with vine boom

I don't know how or why my brain made the connection, but it did.

Beat this game just a few days ago, I went into it blind. Got pissed though that I'd have to grind to feed the cyber elves for upgrades so I just used a cheat to give me infinite crystals lol... but then imagine my shock when I notice my rank going down after every single mission, and at first i was like "haha did the game know im cheating" but then I realized that you're literally punished for using the permanent effect elves, and its not like you can unequip them... I mean, I know that the rank doesn't really do anything significant in the first game but like wtf, imagine grinding for literal hours (which you would've needed to) only for your rank to keep dropping down to a literal "F" with the game giving you titles like "buggy" and "lazy". "Lazy" really got to me, imagine grinding for hours of hard work only for the game to call you lazy. But I guess at the same time it IS lazy to not bother having to learn the boss patterns and dodging attacks and stuff... I mean, I did beat the final boss by literally just standing below and spamming the Triple Rod, and I still had plenty of health afterwards. So yeah, that does sound pretty lazy. But anyways.
