ORTHORHOMBIC SYSTEM

(5) B / side/ Brachy dome :- It is composed of four similar inclined faces, index face cutting b and c axes at unit lengths and remaining parallel to a axes (011)
(6) a/ front/ Macro dome :- It is composed of four similar inclined faces, index face cutting a and c axes at unit lengths and remaining parallel to b axes (101)
(7) Pyramid :- It is composed of eight similar inclined faces, index face cutting all three axes at unit lengths (111)

TETRAGONAL SYSTEM
Type: Zircon
ELEMENTS OF SYMMETRY:
(1) Planes of symmetry - 5 Planes (3 axial, 2 diagonal)
(2) Axes of symmetry - 5 (14, 42)
(3) Centre of symmetry - Present
FORMS:
(1)Basal Pinacoid :- It consist of two similar horizontal faces, index face cutting the c axes and remaining parallel to a1 and a2 axes (001)
(2)Tetragonal Prism of 1st order :- It consist of four similar vertical faces, index face cutting a1 and a2 at unit distance and remaining parallel to c axes (110)
(3)Tetragonal Prism of 2nd order :- It consist of four similar vertical faces, index face cutting a1 and remaining parallel to a2 and c axes (100)
(4)Di-Tetragonal Prism :- It consist of eight similar vertical faces, index face cutting a1 and a2 at unequal lengths and remaining parallel to c axes (hk0)
(5)Tetragonal Pyramid of 1st order :- It consist of eight similar inclined faces, index face cutting all the three axes at unit distance (111)
(6)Tetragonal Pyramid of 2nd order :- It consist of eight similar inclined faces, index face cutting c and a1 axes and remaining parallel to a2 axes (101)
(7)Di-Tetragonal Pyramid :- It consist of sixteen similar inclined faces, index face cutting all the three axes at unequal length (hk1)
CUBIC SYSTEM
Type: Galena
