Naniniwala si Finance Secretary Ralph Recto na walang masamang epekto sa ekonomiya ng bansa ang pagbabawal sa POGO operations.

Sinabi rin ng kalihim na inirekomenda niyang i-ban ang POGO dahil sa negatibo nitong epekto sa reputasyon ng Pilipinas.
