We walked from 25th Street to Houston Street checking out the newly built seawall, gates, and renovated park along the East River in Manhattan. The East Side Coast Resiliency Project is one of many Climate Change projects in NYC. They hope to protect people and infrastructure from super storms like Hurricane Sandy which caused a lot of damage on October 29-30, 2012.
