Rigor Mortis is a short conceptual project. I am currently studying the health sciences in school, a field in which greek and latin words are commonly found. Rigor mortis is when the muscles stiffen a few hours after death. Rigor, in this context, means cold or frozen. Mortis is the latin word for death. After learning this, I thought it would be interesting to make one song based around each of the two words. Both terms lent themselves well to making dark, moody tracks that revolve around death and existentialism. However, the two songs would also turn out distinct from one another due.

I love when music tells a story. Even short projects like this have the ability to create strong atmospheres and tell interesting stories. We only have so much time in our lives, and it is important that we make the most out of the time that we are given. I hope that over the next ten minutes, anyone who choses to listen to this project will full immerse themselves in it, and engage with the music to it's fullest extent.
