Pokémon Stadium - Gym Leader Castle - Fuchsia City Gym [1/2]

Описание к видео Pokémon Stadium - Gym Leader Castle - Fuchsia City Gym [1/2]

The first two battles of the Fuchsia City Gym are shown here. The Fuchsia City Gym, like the other Gyms, is themed to fit the type specialty of the Gym Leader. In this case, it's modeled after the poison-type by appearing to be a sewer, with sludge running down the sides of the Gym. To be honest, I bet this Gym completely stinks.

First battle, vs. Biker:
I received some requests to use the Pokémon Yellow Pikachu in battle. For those that do not know, if you use the specific Pikachu from Pokémon Yellow, it actually talks during battle and has some unique animations for its attacks.

However, Pikachu is close to useless in RBY/Stadium; since hold items didn't exist back then, it lacks the Light Ball, which would make it much better in the following generation, reaching its apex in 4th Gen., as the Light Ball increases Pikachu's Attack AND Special Attack.

Needless to say, it faints relatively quickly, but Charizard took out the rest of the Biker's team. Remember, abilities didn't exist back then, so Koffing is able to be hit by Ground moves.

I used:
Pikachu (pikachu), Charizard (Pyron), and Snorlax (The-Bulk, unseen).

The opponent used:
Koffing, Grimer, and Venonat.

Second match, vs. Tamer:
Blastoise can't do too much to most Water-types; however, the same can be said for the other way around (except for Starmie, THE best Water-type in RBY/Stadium). Blastoise's Blizzard was unable to take out Ivysaur (lack of STAB, probably), and it ate a critical hit Razor Leaf.

However, my Snorlax (aptly named The-Bulk... check out its color!) ended up sweeping the rest of his team.

I used:
Blastoise (Blaster), Snorlax (The-Bulk), and Charizard (Pyron, unseen).

The opponent used:
Kingler, Ivysaur, and Machoke.
