Uganda’s Population now stands at 45.9 Million People with females reported at 51 percent and males at 49 percent.
The Executive Director Uganda Bureau of Statistics Chris Mukiza says the growth rate stands at 2.9 percent down from 3.0 percent in 2014.
This was during the release of the preliminary results for the recently Conducted National Housing and Population Census where President Yoweri Museveni detested birth Control Measures urging Ugandans to desist from superstition.
