🛟🌊 RNLI Porthcawl: Class B ‘Atlantic 85’ Lifeboat Launch 25/07/23 (Loud siren warning)

After rock pooling, I hear the lifeboat launching siren sound so I ran over to watch it.

B832 ‘Rose Of The Shires’ is one of the new generation of RNLI B-class Atlantic inshore lifeboats. The boat is also called ‘Atlantic 85.’ It is rolled down the ramp by the Talus MB-4H, the first tractor to be specifically designed for launching an inflatable lifeboat.

Atlantic 85 is named because of the length of the boat being approximately 8.5m long.
