Živko Kljaković (1905 – 1982)
Kljaković, Živko, Croatian painter (Solin, April 8, 1905 – Zagreb, October 13, 1982). Graduated from the Academy of Arts in Zagreb (1930), was a drawing teacher and then manager of the School of Applied Arts in Split. As an associate of the Institute of Folk Art in Zagreb (now the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore) in the period from 1950 to 1965, during field research he created a valuable collection of original drawings with an ethnographic theme (folk musical instruments, handicrafts, household inventory, fragments of peasant architecture, economic aids, costume parts, etc.).
In loving memory of my nono.
