Hiking Mount Ijen Crater, a day trip outside of Bali

In this visual, we take you on a day trip away from the hustling & bustling island of Bali. This day trip to Kawah Ijen was one of our favorite moments during our 3-weeks around Indonesia. Hopefully we've given you everything you need to know before you go visit this worthy crater lake. Although this is a day trip, it technically can also be called an overnight trip since our private tour started at 7pm, where we got picked up from our hotel in Ubud.

Mount Ijen is in East Java, the island next to Bali. Strap up for true overnight adventure and enjoy our experience to the largest acidic crater lake, Kawah Ijen.
