Harry Kane has a huge decision this coming summer. His current contract at Spurs expires in the summer of 2024. And at the age of 29 years old, this is his final opportunity to make a big money move and actually compete for trophies.

He has been linked heavily with Manchester United as it is a position that my side have been crying out for. Cristiano Ronaldo did an interview with a jellyfish, Tony Martial can only stay fit for 5 mins and Wout Weghorst is a squad player at best. And with other teams such as Liverpool and Man City who have their striker options sorted and with the hope of breaking Alan Shearer’s premier league goals record, Manchester United would be the only logical Premier League side that he would join.

But let’s look at the situation at Tottenham. Should he stay at Tottenham? I think we can all agree, that Spurs look nowhere near winning trophies anytime soon. They had their best-ever Premier League side from 2015 to 2019 and failed to win a trophy. Going into this season, a lot of people were hyping them up after the signing of Richarlison, Bissouma and Romero. Some even said they could be in a title race but I quickly shot that down at the time.

And if you look at the current team and the uncertainty of the manager’s future, Antonio Conte, it doesn’t look good for Spurs. They easily need 7-9 new players to start competing for trophies and we have seen in the bedroom, Antonio Conte doesn’t last long. In his job that is, not sure how he performs in the bedroom.

The writing is on the wall with Conte. We have seen him blasting his players from Spurs in his press conferences. Conte gets angry at his players in press conference. The history.

I believe Harry Kane has not entered contract talks with Tottenham yet because he wants to se how the season pans out. Get top 4 and with the addition of new signings, he may sign a new contract. But miss out on top 4 and perhaps Conte gets sacked, he could leave.

Spurs are quite the contrast to Man United. They looked poor at Old Trafford and lost 2-0. Yes, they are only 2 points behind Man United in the league but keep in mind. Spurs have played an extra fixture and Ten Hag has been at the Man Utd job for 7 months and has already won more trophies than Harry Kane in England. Shout out to the Audi Cup.
As a Manchester United fan, I would love to see Harry Kane join us. I think he will be the difference to United finishing 4th vs United competing for the league. I know a lot of United fans would rather see Osimen from Napoli as he is the future talent and much younger. I bet you anything these are the same set of fans that were buzzing when we resigned Cristiano Ronaldo 24 months ago. Age is just a number. Look at the best strikers in the world right now. Karim Benzema 35 years old. He's about to sign another Madrid deal. Lewandowski - 34 years olf. You definitely can get another 3-4 years out of Harry Kane.

The signing of Harry Kane to Manchester United would be very similar to when we signed RVP from Arsenal, at the age of 29 years old btw, He was the difference and secured United's last premier league title.

United’s away form vs the big 6 needs drastic improvement. Lost to Arsenal, got destroyed by Liverpool and City and drew with a poor Chelsea side. This is mainly because we try to get up in the counterattack. Kane is more than just a clinical striker. He can drop deep and ping balls out to the wing. That is why he has such a deadly partnership with Son. Imagine Rashford, Sancho, Garnacho and Antony on the end of Kane’s long dangly balls.
Kane also allows teams to go more direct. For example, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw have a fantastic eye for a long pass, Kane can provide that outlet for them and allow the likes of Bruno to run in behind.
Another reason Harry Kane would be the difference to Manchester United is his danger at set pieces/ He has scored more goals from throw ins, free kicks and corners than actual penalties. Christian Eriksen has played with him before and we have seen how deadly they can be. For me, this would be a no-brainer for Manchester United to start winning trophies again.

I can see us signing Harry Kane if the Glazers sell up before the summer. Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the Quartis have met Manchester United representatives at Old Trafford, so the takeover is slowly happening. I think Kane will look at what RVP did, a Dutchman, and try to replicate that success. He’ll want to break Alan Shearers record who famously reject United ie trophies for his boyhood club btw. I think deep down, Kane will have that constant label over him if he does not win trophies.

Spurs are adamant he is not for sell but 85 million pounds for Harry Kane for 4 years is a no-brainer if you are a Manchester United fan.You could say we could wait for another year and get him for free, he is premier league proven and we have to make the most of his aging talent. I'm not paying that money/ Go and get him.
