For my money, a good hardshell case is tough to beat. They're the icing on that new guitar cake, easy to store, and they protect my beloved instruments from damage that might occur if I left my guitars strewn about the house. Which, if I'm honest, I pretty much do anyway. Sometimes, however, a guitar case can be the worst place to store an instrument. Here's why.
