Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine and Steam Train (in HD)

Описание к видео Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine and Steam Train (in HD)

On the first day of Big Jim Video Production's fall railfanning weekend, a visit was made to Ashland, PA - up outside of Pottsville, and not too far from Centralia (home of the infamous underground mine fire) to check out the Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine and Steam Train, and their 0-4-0 narrow gauge lokie, the Henry Clay. Seeing as how I hadn't been here in about two decades, I didn't remember too much about the line - 3/4 of a mile long up the side of the mountain, with 5 trips during the day, making the line very easy to railfan. The Henry Clay is a great-sounding engine, pushing the train up the hill to the beautiful overlook. The people there are very accommodating and nice, so be sure to stop by, check out the mine tour and ride the steam train. Enjoy this video!
