BLOCK SPECIFICATIONS:
💚 Sew to your strengths! The heart blocks can be pieced in any way or appliqued by hand or machine. All we ask is that the block be 6.5 inches unfinished (to be 6 inches finished) and any appliqué is kept half an inch from the edge.
💚 While this project began with requests for green hearts, a colour significant in the Muslim faith, we are now encouraging hearts of all colours. The coordinators will ensure that quilts are created for each group taking into account the appropriateness of colours and symbols.
