God Luck and Good Speed is played in the key of D Minor and it's riffs primarily utilize elements from the D Minor Pentatonic Scale {R, b3, p4, p5, b7} and the D Natural Minor Scale {R, M2, b3, p4, p5, b6, b7} along with some chromaticism {b2} at the end of the second riff.
