Is Georgetown the most underrated city in Malaysia? Georgetown Penang (Malaysia travel)

Georgetown in Penang is the most underrated city in Malaysia and maybe even south east asia. We are based in beautiful little India Georgetown Penang. Filled with great street food and multicultural vibes.

We first take a little walking tour to check out all the beautiful street art which Georgetown has to offer. Walking through the stunning colonial building is one reason why Georgetown in Penang is such an underrated city.

We then head to the jetty’s, mostly chew jetty which is the main one before heading to China house, the longest cafe in Penang. The cake there is absolutely divine.

After a stroll around more of Georgetown we head for some local Penang food. Laksa among other dishes.
We highly recommend the underrated city of Georgetown Penang.
