The Volkswagen ID. BUZZ and How it Electrified an Automotive Icon

The Volkswagen Type 2 Bus (Transporter) helped define a decade of change and strife in the United States, and paved the way for massive success for the German brand known for making smart commuter cars, as well as the downfall of commercial Euro-car sales. Now the Bus is back as the ID.BUZZ, VW's latest electric car (EV) that attempts to redefine one of the most iconic cars of the 1960s and '70s as something that will appeal to the hippies that grew up and the eco-conscious buyers of today. In this video, I discuss the history of the Type 2 Bus and why it's such an iconic car, and whether or not the new ID. BUZZ can live up to its predecessor.

Quick Notes: This is a history video, but I do spend sometime sharing my thoughts on how the Buzz can be successful. Also, I fail to mention this explicitly in the video, but this is mostly about the Bus' influence in the sphere of American Pop Culture.

For any subscribers to the channel, I apologize for the slow process on this video, but life has been a bit tough lately. Furthermore, I'm also sorry for the mic sounds. I thought I really improved my sound quality in the Fiero video, but I seem to have encountered new issues.
