I am also Extremely knowledgable about laptops and computers due to my past experience with this type of Tech, as a Tech Geek.

The goal of this video was to Explain how much one should spend when buying a new laptop as simple as possible.

I also noticed that many people don't understand the meaning of all the parts of the laptop, so I tried to my best ability to Simplify all the Terms used in the Laptop industry.

I tried to simplify All the different Parts of a laptop that one should Consider looking at when buying a laptop.

So.

How much should you spend on a new laptop?

It Varies heavily from person to person, and is highly situational and depends on what you will be using the laptop for.

Who should buy a laptop from 150$ - 300$?

This price range is best suited for Younger people and older people.

It is also suitable for anyone who just wants a laptop to check emails, do some simple online searches, and maybe watch some youtube.

It won't work well for any advanced programs, or games, SO don't expect to use this laptop for video editing or photo editing.

This budget range will be great for Basic tasks.

300$ - 500$?

This budget range is better for university students, or someone who wants a more reliable laptop.

It will handle simple tasks with ease, and may be able to do a tiny bit of video editing and photo editing.

Don't expect miracles here, It won't handle big projects.

It will also play some light games without a problem, and will provide you with a good amount of RAM Which will mean that you can easily do Multi-tasking and use multiple tasks at the same time.

Another good thing about this budget range is you get a good bump up in Storage space, and you get around 128GB of storage to about 500GBs

500$ - 800$ Range?

This budget range will be better suited for those who want to do some more advanced tasks like Photo editing, video editing, and playing some games.

It could even handle some simple 3D Design programs.

It won't be able to handle any complex projects though, but it will usually easily have enough in it to handle more simple projects.

So for a beginner this will be a great option, and will be a good way to get ur foot in the door to use some programs like photo editing / video editing and more.

Gaming is also Extremely possible at this budget range and if you get a Gaming laptop you should easily be able to handle most recent games, But not at very high frame-rates.

you may need to bump the quality of Triple A Games down.

800$ - 1200$?

This budget range is going to be best for Intermediate level tasks and will be great as a Middle-way option for most people.

It will easily handle most Video editing Tasks

It will easily handle some simple to medium sized 3D models.

It will easily handle most Games, and may even give 144 FPS on some less demanding games like fortnite, or Dota, or CS GO or other less demanding games.

won't be great for editing 4K Footage

Won't be great for Extremely large projects.

1200$ ?

You would know if you needed this Budget-range.

However. To make things simple.

This budget range is best suited for Professionals in any career.

And for those gamers who want the best experience possible and want the highest specs, to be able to play and get an impressive 144 FPS on modern games.

It will also be a great option for most Architecture students and engineering students who rely heavily on 3D modeling programs.

3D Modeling programs usually require Special graphics cards called Quadro Graphics cards or AMD Fire pro graphics cards.

These graphics cards are usually found in Workstation Laptops.

Workstation laptops usually cost a lot of money and to get a good one for Architects you will be looking at more than 1500$ for a decent option.

I explained more about all the different specs and what they mean in the video.
