Mansaf is the national dish of Jordan. it is a very rich in flavor and extremely heavy but in a lovely way. a dish that you would never forget.

what makes it so special is a key ingredients that is called Jameed, it is made of dried yogurt and preserved in salt. the creaminess and concentrated flavor of the jameed tends to boost the flavor of the lamb and the whole dish. basically an Umami booster.

another vital ingredients is the lamb, where the stock and the meat complete the dish. the sauce is a combination of the dissolved jameed and the stock making an incredible sauce.

this is the first video that i have filmed professionally with the help of my good friend tariq who filmed and edited the video.
