In the month of January , 2016 I planned a trip to Hindon River Bridge . After repeated visits at this place , I found out that it is ideal for taking full length footage of the subject. Inspite of the traffic and the Hindon river itself which smells like a drain , the location was ideal to spot trains with decent speed. But this time , I tried something different . instead of going during the daytime, I found it interesting to visit this place at Dawn . The absence of tall buildings around it and its elevation provided a perfect scene . This was first such attempt . The video quality may not up to the mark .

After I saw Kathgodam Shatabdi rush past the Hindon Bridge with its customary Loco link –Tughlakabad’s WDM3A , it was the turn of Lucknow Shatabdi as it was trailing KGM shatabdi by 5 minutes.
Lucknow Swarn Shatabdi connects New Delhi with the capital city of the state of Uttar Pradesh , that is Lucknow itself via Kanpur Central (CNB) . It is usually hauled by a WAP5 locomotive of Ghaziabad Electric Locomotive Shed. It trails the Kathgodam Shatabdi till Ghaziabad as the latter is second shatabdi service from New Delhi after Bhopal Shatabdi Express .
