Born in Nigeria with Sickle Cell, Workplace Descrimination, Unfair desmissal | A Male Perspective

Описание к видео Born in Nigeria with Sickle Cell, Workplace Descrimination, Unfair desmissal | A Male Perspective

In this conversation I spoke with Olu about his journey with sickle cell. From being born in Nigeria and not finding out he had sickle cell until he was 11 to being unfairly dismissed at work due to hi sickle cell and winning a settlement. I learnt a lot from this conversation and as always it's great to hear the male perspective of sickle cell.

Conversations with Jen is all about increasing awareness and lessening the stigma that we face living with sickle cell. I want to ask the questions people want to know the answers to and share the experiences of people who are often not heard.
