'Poovar' is well known for its backwaters and Mangrove forests. poovar is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Kerala. Poovar has an estuary which connects with the sea during high tides. The 56 km Neyyar River passes through Neyyattinkara taluk into the Arabian Sea near Poovar. Its natural environment enables it to be a tourist spot. This video shows you the experience of backwater boat riding. poovar island resort has water cottages. you can enjoy your day on the shore of Arabian Sea. you can enjoy the sunset view in Golden sand Beach.
