Section 34. Jurisdiction of District Commission. (1).... to entertain complaints where the value of goods or services paid as consideration does not exceed fifty lakh rupees:

(2)(d). Consumers can institute a complaint from where they reside or work for gain.

Section 47. Jurisdiction of State Commission. - (1)(a)(i) complaints where the value of goods or services paid as consideration, exceeds rupees 50 lakhs, but does not exceed rupees ten crore:

Section 58. Jurisdiction of National Commission. (1)(a)(i) complaints where the value of goods or services paid as consideration exceeds rupees ten crore:

Section 2(9) "consumer rights " includes,-

(i) the right to be protected against the marketing of goods, products or services which are hazardous to life and property;

(ii) the right to be informed about the quality, quantity, potency, purity, standard and price of goods, products or services, as the case may be, so as to protect the consumer against unfair trade practices;

(iii) the right to be assured, wherever possible, access to a variety of goods, products or services at competitive prices;

(iv) the right to be heard and to be assured that consumer's interests will receive due consideration at appropriate fora;

(v) the right to seek redressal against unfair trade practice or restrictive trade practices or unscrupulous exploitation of consumers; and

(vi) the right to consumer awareness;

These are the rights given in the C.P. Act, 2019. These rights are the statutory rights or also known as legal rights.
But these rights are not the Constitutional rights because it is not mentioned in the Constitution.

Ignorance of consumers are the main reason for their exploitation.
They should know their rights and must exercise them, then only the goals of consumer protection act can be achieved successfully.
