New mission dungeon requires you to choose a team of the same crystal to get the specific crystal you want. the moment I saw the update from stream I know black Crystal is the first I will go for cause of my boi here!!

So, this new crystal mission reset weekly, and you can choose the level of shinryu while tackling the stage, higher level obviously yield better results but it also results in bosses with higher hp.

Issue with the crystal type is there's no supercharger with black Crystal (or is there?).

Anyway, the first stage I got was the Leo FRBT stage (ST with delay mechanics), so since Squall is more of a disadvantage in that one, I decided to reroll the boss (first week rerolls are infinite and free). Ended up with Paine's IW boss instead, so the stage mechanics are:

1. Boss lands debuffs at QS, and will land again at threshold and when FT is active.

2. Boss gains buff like crazy at threshold, FT and QS.

3. Boss will follow up with a AOE HP ATK when attacking your party while debuffs are present during Force Time.

So my counter to the mechanics are:

1. Setzer freeze to protect the party
2. Aerith LDCA to prevent the buffs from the boss
3. Quina to counter the boss debuffs since I could always cap even with the debuffs.
4. Seymour LDCA to remove the first buffs

I initially plan to go with Setzer, Zack and Squall but Setzer RNG is such a stupid mechanics that i decided to run Quina instead to eliminate that and rely on Setzer freeze for protection.

Meanwhile I'll spend the crystal later hahaha, want to get more info about it first.
