How to Make HALAL CART STYLE CHICKEN and RICE With HOMEMADE FALAFEL | HALAL GUYS COPY CAT RECIPE

This is a collab with ‪@mr.flavorsavor5227‬ on his halal cart style chicken over rice with white sauce recipe
If you have ever been to NYC and have had Halal Guys from a cart or one of their restaurant locations this is the closest at-home recipe you will get to their chicken and rice with white sauce. The falafel was the perfect addition to the meal you can also add a salad and a pita to complete the plate.

Subscribe to my channel:    / whatsindepot  

Falafel :
1 cup dried chickpeas, soaked overnight
1 tbsp green seasoning
2 tbsp dried parsley
1 1/2 tsp baking powder dissolved in 3 tbsp water
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/8 paprika
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 small onion, chopped

White sauce:
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 cup of Mayo
2 Tbs of water
1 Tbs of white vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of parsley
2 teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1 tsp green seasoning
Mix well and refrigerate

Chicken:
3 boneless chicken thighs
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp fresh garlic
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp adobo seasoning

Rice:
1 tbsp of butter
2 cups parboiled rice or basmati rice
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp salt
